This private modern beach house has old-world charm and sits directly on Wainui Beach, renowned for its world-class surf breaks. Step from the front lawn onto the sandy shoreline, relax in outdoor seating overlooking the ocean, or enjoy the majestic sunrise.

The home is ideal for families, with generous living areas, a deck and lawn. The beach location offers unobstructed ocean views, while the western side looks toward magnificent sheep-covered hills.

At night, gather in the sheltered courtyard with its gas fireplace, barbecue and pizza oven. Two outdoor dining areas, a hammock, swing chair and pétanque set make it easy to relax together.

The local café/bar and beach store are a few minutes' walk away, and Gisborne city is only a six-minute drive. Gated onsite parking provides privacy and security.

New Year: family groups are preferred. No Rhythm and Vines groups.

Please use water carefully because the house relies on a rainwater tank.

Bed linen and bath towels are provided. Guests need to bring their own beach towels and coffee pods for the Nespresso machine.

No pets. House parties or weddings are not permitted without advance written permission.

Please supervise children at all times around the spa and ocean. Wash feet before using the spa and ensure there is no sand in pockets.

External security cameras operate at the property.
